Puppies Available at Cheynat

 

 

 

 

 At Cheynat we believe health and temperament are the most important ingredient in our breeding program. In addition we select dogs that have correct conformation (their physical structure & movement). Our puppies are healthy, loving, beautiful and intelligent. Puppies destined for competition are selected first based on the specific needs for the sport.

Pet puppies are $950 Canadian at eight weeks old (contact us if you are looking for a show, trialing or breeding prospect). This includes a puppy package that has copies of interesting articles, the parent’s health clearances, pedigrees & a 3-year comprehensive guarantee.

When the puppy is ready to be picked up he/she will be micro-chipped, had his/her first vaccination and thorough health examination by a veterinarian, he/she will also have been wormed twice & have had their eyes examined by a board certified ophthalmologist when scheduling permits.

We are extremely cautious when we breed our adult dogs. We require a minimum of hip  dysplasia clearances from OVC or OFA and eye clearances from a board certified ophthalmologist. Our guarantee can be downloaded. If you are interested in visiting our facilities please  call to make arrangements.

By the time our puppies are 7-8 weeks old and ready to become part of a new home they have been evaluated to ensure that their temperaments will be suitable for the families they will join.

Shipping can be arranged but we do not ship puppies that are less than 3 months old. While not absolutely required, we prefer that new owners pick up their puppies in person. Shipping costs are the responsibility of the purchaser and are not refundable.


We provide the following items when you pick up your puppy.

    ·       Up to date vaccinations and worming
    ·       An implanted microchip
    ·       Approximately 1 week of food
    ·       A 3 year written health guarantee
    ·       A leash, collar, bowls, and a couple of toys
    ·       A puppy package that includes a booklet, pedigree, breed specific information, photos, etc.
