Setting up Your E-Mail

Mail Server Information:

for usernames ending in @csolve.net
Incoming Mail (POP3): pop3.csolve.net
Outgoing Mail (SMTP): smtp.csolve.net

for usernames ending in @simcoe.net
Incoming Mail (POP3): pop3.simcoe.net
Outgoing Mail (SMTP): smtp.simcoe.net

Outlook Express

  1. Open Outlook Express.
  2. Click the Tools menu and select Accounts.
  3. Click the Add button and select Mail
  4. Type your Name in the space provided and click the Next button.
  5. Type your Email Address in the space provided and click the Next button.
  6. Select POP3 for the Server Type. Type the name of the Incoming and Outgoing mail server names and click the Next button.
  7. Type your Username and Password in the spaces provided and click the Next button.
  8. Click the Finish button
  9. Select your mail account from the Mail tab and click the Properties button.
  10. Click the Servers tab along the top and click the box beside "My server requires authentication" in the Outgoing Mail Server section
  11. Click the Apply button and then the OK button
  12. Click the Close button to exit the Accounts window.

Outlook 2002/2003

  1. Open Microsoft Outlook
  2. Click the Tools menu and select Email Accounts.
  3. Click the Add a New Email Account and click Next
  4. Select POP3 for the Server Type and click Next
  5. Type your Name and Email Address in the space provided.
  6. Type your full Username and Password in the space provided.
  7. Type the name of the Incoming and Outgoing mail server names in the space provided
  8. Click the More Settings button.
  9. Click the Outgoing Server tab and select "My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication"
  10. Click the OK button
  11. Click the Next button and then Finish
  12. Click the Close button to exit the Email Accounts window

Outlook 2007

  1. Open Microsoft Outlook
  2. Click the Tools menu and select Account Settings.
  3. Click the New button and click Next
  4. Select Microsoft Exchange, POP3, IMAP, SMTP and click Next
  5. Click the check box beside "Manually configure server settings..." and click Next
  6. Select Internet Mail and click Next
  7. Fill in the fields provided for your Internet Email Settings
    User Information:
  8. Type your Name and Email Address in the space provided.
    Server Information:
  9. Select POP3 for the Account Type
  10. Type the name of the Incoming and Outgoing mail server names in the space provided
    Logon Information:
  11. Type your full Username and Password in the space provided.
  12. Click the More Settings button.
  13. Click the Outgoing Server tab and select "My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication"
  14. Click the OK button
  15. Click the Next button and then Finish
  16. Click the Close button to exit the Email Accounts window

Outlook 2010

  1. Open Microsoft Outlook
  2. Click the File tab and select the Add Account button
  3. Click the check box beside "Manually configure server settings..." and click Next
  4. Select Internet Mail and click Next
  5. Fill in the fields provided for your Internet Email Settings
    User Information:
  6. Type your Name and Email Address in the space provided.
    Server Information:
  7. Select POP3 for the Account Type
  8. Type the name of the Incoming and Outgoing mail server names in the space provided
    Logon Information:
  9. Type your full Username and Password in the space provided.
  10. Click the More Settings button.
  11. Click the Outgoing Server tab and select "My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication"
  12. Click the OK button
  13. Click the Next button and then Finish
  14. Click the Close button to exit the Email Accounts window

Windows Live Mail 2011

  1. Open Windows Live Mail
  2. Click the Account tab and select the Email button
  3. Type your Email Address, Password, and Name in the space provided.
  4. Select Manually configure server settings and click the Next button
  5. Select POP3 for the Server Type
  6. Type the name of the Incoming mail server and the Port as 110
  7. Select Clear Type Authentication from the drop box
  8. Type the name of the Outgoing mail server and the Port as 25
  9. Select Requires Authentication
  10. Click the Next button and then Finish
