High Speed DSL Installation

Setup on Windows 2000

Download DSL Software for Windows

1. Begin by installing the High Speed Access software, available either on our CD or through our High Speed DSL Installation Instructions page.
2. Once the installation of the software is completed you should have on your desktop a new folder labeled, 'CSolve DSL', double click on this folder to open it
3. This will open a new window, within this window there should be an icon called, 'Create New Profile'. Double click on this.
4. This will open the High Speed profile setup.
5. The first screen will ask you to name your connection, this can be anything but for simplicity sake type in Compu-SOLVE and click Next to continue
6. The next screen will ask you for your login information, in the User Name field enter in your Compu-SOLVE e-mail address (IE johndoe@csolve.net) and in the Password fields, enter in your current Internet password.
7. Next it will tell you that it will look for servers on your network, press Next here to have it connect through your High Speed modem and locate our server.
8. The next screen will show you the server information that it found, press Next to accept this server and proceed to the next step.
9. This next page is to congratulate you for successfully configuring your high speed Internet connection. Press Finish to complete the configuration.
10. This will create a new icon in the CSolve DSL folder. Double clicking on this icon will initialize the High Speed modem and connect you to the Internet
