Dial-Up Networking Setup Instructions

Setup on Windows Vista

1. Click the Start button and open the Control Panel.
2. Double-click the Network and Sharing Center
3. Click on “Set up a connection or network”
4. Choose “Setup a dialup connection” then click next.
5. Choose your modem from the list and click on it.
6. Type in the phone number you were provided to connect to Compu-SOLVE.
7. Type in your username and password you were provided.
8. Click on connect.
9. Vista places a Network Connection icon- consisting of two tiny computers on the task bar close to the clock – this is your connection manager – if you right click on this icon it will give you a variety of options such as “Connect” or Disconnect”.
