Dial-Up Networking Setup Instructions
Setup on Windows 2000
- Click the Start button, go to Settings, click Network and Dial-up Connections, and click Make New Connection.
- When the Network Connection Wizard opens, click the Next button.
- Select Dial-up to the Internet and click the Next button.
- Select 'I want to setup my Internet connection ' and click the Next button.
- Select 'I connect through a phone line and modem' and click the Next button.
- Type the access phone number from your Internet Code Sheet and click the Next button.
- Type your Username and Password from your Internet Code Sheet and click the Next button.
- Type Compu-SOLVE for the Connection Name and click the Next button. If you are prompted to setup your email select No and click the Next button.
- Click the Finish button.Create a Dial-Up Networking Shortcut
- Double-click the My Computer icon.
- Double-click the Control Panel icon.
- Double-click the Dial- up Networking icon.
- Right-click your Compu-SOLVE icon and select Create Shortcut. When Windows asks if you want to create the shortcut on the desktop, click 'Yes'.
- Close the Dial-Up Networking window. You should now see the new Shortcut to Compu-SOLVE on your desktop.
