Dial-Up Networking Setup Instructions

Setup on Windows 2000

1. Click the Start button, go to Settings, click Network and Dial-up Connections, and click Make New Connection.
2. When the Network Connection Wizard opens, click the Next button.
3. Select Dial-up to the Internet and click the Next button.
4. Select 'I want to setup my Internet connection ' and click the Next button.
5. Select 'I connect through a phone line and modem' and click the Next button.
6. Type the access phone number from your Internet Code Sheet and click the Next button.
7. Type your Username and Password from your Internet Code Sheet and click the Next button.
8. Type Compu-SOLVE for the Connection Name and click the Next button. If you are prompted to setup your email select No and click the Next button.
9. Click the Finish button.Create a Dial-Up Networking Shortcut
10. Double-click the My Computer icon.
11. Double-click the Control Panel icon.
12. Double-click the Dial- up Networking icon.
13. Right-click your Compu-SOLVE icon and select Create Shortcut. When Windows asks if you want to create the shortcut on the desktop, click 'Yes'.
14. Close the Dial-Up Networking window. You should now see the new Shortcut to Compu-SOLVE on your desktop.
